Coming Out Later In Life Group For Women

This support group offers a safe, non-judgemental space for women who may be exploring or questioning their sexual orientation later in their life experience.

Who is this group for?

Have you been considering your sexual orientation or maybe have become more curious about it?
Maybe you have always known that you weren't straight but were living a straight life and didn't feel there was anyone who could understand.
Maybe you just have a lot of questions about navigating your sexuality and are finding it difficult to talk about because of your family, marriage, or belief system.

You're not alone.

Coming Out Later In Life is a group for women who are learning about or coming to terms with their sexualty, navigating marriage, children, divorce or remaining in their relationship. Often there are social, career, or religious beliefs are implicated in creating distress for women around talking about sexual orientation. This group is a space where women can explore these issues in their lives confidentially and safely and without judgement or agenda.

Coming out later in life is scary, you don't have to figure this out alone. As a group, we require confidentiality from all of our members. We also value affirming and supportive participation. We have no intended outcome other than creating a safe and compassionate space to share in community and understanding.

Perhaps eventually we will find a way to meet in person that feels safe for everyone. Until then, we meet online one Wednesday evening a month. The group is $65 to attend. Before joining, we'll chat for a few minutes to go over the guidelines and to make sure you feel that this would be a good fit. Please call or email to set up a time to chat!
